Oppo is reportedly to unveil a new smartphone in the next few weeks. Apparently, the upcoming Oppo A53 has passed TENAA, a company in China that approves devices for purchase.

The Chinese smartphone maker is rumored to launch the Oppo A53 any time soon. The forthcoming handset has just been certified by TENAA recently. However, Oppo has not announced any information and details about the A53 yet.

According to recent reports though, the A53 sports a 5.5-inch IPS screen with 720 by 1280 HD display and a 16GB of built-in storage expandable up to 128GB through a micro SD card. Under the hood, it will be powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU with 2GB of RAM.

Camera wise, it boasts a 13-megapixel primary shooter with full HD video recording and a 5-megapixel front snapper for video calls, chats, and selfies. The Oppo A53 also runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box. In addition, it is expected to be 8.03mm thick, weigh 165 grams, as well as come in two color options - silver and gold.

In terms of connectivity, A53 supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, USB, GSM, WLAN, GPRS, EDGE, TD-LTE, and TD-SCDMA options. Its price is still unknown as of the moment, but it could be a mid-range smartphone, considering its specifications and features.

Certainly, the Oppo A53 will be officially released in China soon. Nevertheless, those who are interested to purchase the device in areas the handset is not officially launched may visit Oppo's or some e-retailers' website.

All Oppo users and spectators are absolutely excited for this yet another innovation from the Chinese smartphone maker. The A53 will hit the market in the coming days as Oppo announces its release date officially. Thus, everyone should just wait for the company's confirmation as to when all can get a hold of it.
