Fans know Michael Muhney for being part of "Young and the Restless" and currently the 39 year old actor has been busy and building a name for himself far from his small screen role as Adam Newman. In his recent effort of bringing his career to the next level, Muhney is getting involved in a new project on the big screen entitled "Search Engines".
According to Enstarz Muhney took to Twitter to reveal a sneak peek at what his new movie is all about tweeting, "Straight? Gay? Labels. Pushing the limits filming my role in the new movie 'Search Engines.' Such a well-written/directed film. #inspired".
It seems that Muhney has been taking his career and bringing it to a whole different level and pushing his skills to the limit with new projects that divert from his famed days on "Young and the Restless".
Aside from working on "Search Engines", International Business Times reports that Muhney also has an upcoming TV movie called "Back to Christmas" a project that will be shown this December and is one he worked on with the ION television network.
Despite the worked out rumours of Muhney's alleged misconduct during his "Young and the Restless" days, the Australian actor has gone to do his best effort of getting out of that issue and pursuing a much better path into film making.
News from Daily Mail even tackles to clarify the entire issue as Muhney himself explains that he never intended to stay on "Young and the Restless" as long as he did.
In a statement he relays how he talked with the show executives, "Things have to change. You guys are going to have to fire me or I'm going to have to quit," as it seemed that he was way too upset and too involved with his long running gig as Newman - his current path moving to movie making is now something he gladly accepts and takes into better credit.
