Bullet for My Valentine Promotes Fifth Album in a New Teaser; New record to release in summer

By

After giving it all away in the recording studio, Welsh heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine seems ready to release a new album as they recently released the video trailer for their upcoming fifth album. Although still untitled, the said teaser suggests that the bands' new record will be christened as "V." The new LP will also be released in August 2015.

The said video was initially posted in the band' Facebook page with the caption "Coming Soon...#BFMV5" and shows the band recording in the studio. The short teaser also features a voiceover from vocalist/guitarist Matt Tuck saying "I wanna get it fucking right. I wanna get it dark, I wanna get it powerful. I want fan to come and get it." Accompanying the clip is a track playing in the background, which might be a part of the album.

As to what will be the name of the new LP, ABC News Radio speculates that it might simply be "V" since it is the Roman numeral for five that was teased in the phrase "V...Coming Soon." Likewise, the upcoming record will incorporate the feeling of excitement, angst, and anger, as told frontman Matt Tuck at U.K.'s Metal Hammer magazine.

Going back, the band's fourth studio album "Temper Temper" in 2013 didn't get much the hearts of the fans. Thus, the Welsh metallers will reignite their feistiness ten fold. "As the albums go on, and you get a bit older, that goes away. So we're like, 'Let's recapture that angst of that younger, feisty BULLET that we used to be,' and fucking reignite that fire. And we totally have," Tuck continued.

It was reported in February this year that bassist Jason James has parted ways. Although the rest of Tuck's band were saddened, they still pursued to finish the upcoming album. To get fans charged up, the said video ended with Roman Numerals (VIII MMXV) hinting at a release this August 2015. However, as much as that is exciting, the band did not drop a word regarding the official release date of the LP.

Meanwhile, Bullet for My Valentine will be joining heavy metal band Slipknot's 2015 North American tour alongside with groove metal band Lamb of God and metal core band Motionless in White. The four bands will be hitting the road this summer on "Summer's Last Stand" tour. The said concert tour will commence at the West Palm Beach in Florida this July.

Now, are you hyped for this new record from Bullet for My Valentine? What are your favorite songs from them? Make sure to check out this upcoming fifth album to hit shelves this August.
