New robots, an outer space setting-- these are some of the new scenes that viewers can expect in the upcoming movie sequel "Transformers 5". There is no information yet though if the movie will be based on a new Transformers comic book to be launched next month where 6 female robots will combine to form Victorion.

ROBOTS IN SPACE

The last scene of "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" ended with Optimus Prime leaving the Earth to look for the Creators and will be continued in "Transformers 5" with a setting that will take place mostly in space. Gossip Herald quotes a report as saying that viewers therefore could expect a battle between the creators and creation. The Creators are Quintessons, an ancient race of Transformers.

Moreover, there will be 6 new robots namely Red Alert, Override, Cyclonus, Ultra Magnus, Blitzwing and Scourge. Based on the cartoon series, Ultra Magnus was designated by Optimus Prime to be in charge of the Earth when the latter went to space to deal with the Decepticons wherein he meets the evil Unicron. The Decepticons at that time were travelling through space. Also, with the presence of Scourge and Cyclonus, it could imply that Unicron sent new Decepticons made up of dead robots as his advance party in preparation for his plan to annihilate the Earth.

NEW FEMALE ROBOTS

The addition of the mentioned robots would mean that there is little possibility for an all-female robot to join the cast. USA Today reports that 6 female robots will team up to form the giant combiner character Victorion in IDW's Transformers: Combiner Hunters comic book.
Some of them are named Windblade, Chromia and Arcee.

Meanwhile, Christian Today confirms that Mark Wahlberg will still get to star in "Transformers 5" which will be directed again by Michael Bay. This despite Bay's statement last year that he will no longer do the said movie.

"Transformers 5" will be released by Paramount Pictures next year.
