Latest trailer for 'The Whispers' season 1 episode 7  "Whatever It Takes" reveals Drill's mission on earth. It is set to destroy the humanity. In the trailer, Wes found out that Drill appears to communicate with children. It also travels electrically.  It will do whatever it takes to get what it wants-to destroy the humanity.

While viewers knew where this Drill is heading, fans can't still figured out why it is using children to do the dirty works. Perhaps, it will be answered during the next season.

Speaking of Season 2, latest reports reveal that the second season is in danger to be cancelled. According to the report from Deadline, ABC and ABC Studios are currently discussing the future of the show and taking the first five episode's ratings into consideration. Although the new series seemed to have been doing well, they are worrying about the show's casting and budget.

The publication adds that 'The Whispers' cast is just too costly. And not all of them may be carried over to Season 2 if the show will be renewed. Other reports also told that lead star Lily Rabe wants to quit the show after Season 1.
