Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2015 is less than a week away and excited fans are hoping that Tekken 7 game director Katsuhiro Harada will make an important announcement that will delight fans of the game. The expected reveal could be either an introduction of a new character that will join the roster, or the date of its release to consoles.

Realty Today reports that based on the history of the franchise where a new character, Catalina, was announced at the same event last year, there is a possibility that Bandai Namco will announce a new fighter during this prestigious event happening this week.

Also, ChristianToday wrote that Bandai Namco is expected to announce the release of Tekken 7 for PS4 and Xbox One and Harada is expected to be the one to make the announcement. The report also says that there is a chance that the will also eventually be released to PC.

As reported earlier, Harada confirmed his attendance at TGS 2015 via Twitter saying, "Of course I'll go there," in a reply to a fan's inquiry. The annual event will be held at Makuhari Messe Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Japan from September 17 to 20.

Meanwhile, adding guest characters like what Mortal Kombat X did is also a possibility to Tekken 7. Attack of the Fanboy reported that Katsuhiro Harada replied to a fan who asked via Twitter about the possibility of adding guest characters to Tekken 7.

Harada replied, "It's if. Tell me your idea hehe."

Guest characters are proven to be very popular in fighting games such as Mortal Kombat X where it included Jason Voorhees and Predator. As a result, fans have asked for more which prompted the developer to consider adding more guest characters in their upcoming DLCs. While it doesn't confirm that guest characters will be featured in the game, the Tekken 7 game director and chief producer is open to the idea.

Tekken 7 was released at arcades in Japan on February this year which is also expected to hit PS4 and Xbox One soon.
