'House of Cards' Season 4 Update: Release Date Possibly March 2016, Claire to Go Head-To-Head With Frank in the Elections

TV political drama "House of Cards" season three ended with a cliffhanger only to entice viewers to a season 4. Now the viewers already have different theories of what is going to happen in the much awaited season but at this point Netflix still has not announced any official release date.

Recently "House of Cards" was rumored to return to Netflix in the same month as the previous three seasons. According to Netflix Life, all 3 seasons have premiered in February, so if the same trend would be followed, season 4 might begin on February 2016. On the other hand, there were also speculations that the show's release date will be pushed to a later date to coincide with the U.S presidential elections but a more recent news has given another possible release date for the next season of the much awaited political drama.

"House of Cards" is now said to possibly start airing on March 2016. According to Christian Today, The show might be pushed to start in March 2016. Based on the trend of the start dates of the last three seasons, which are at least a week later than the other, season 4 might commence in March 2016, seasons 1, 2 and 3 premiered Feb. 1, 14 and 27 respectively. However, Netflix has yet to make an official announcement and until then all those reports are just speculations.

Regardless of the "House of Cards" release date, fans are already excited to see what happens with Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire (Robin Wright) the rest of the TV series' key players in the next season. According to Realty Today, there have been rumors that Frank and Claire might adopt a child to project a better public image while some are speculating that after Claire walks away, she will begin her own campaign and go against Frank in the elections. On the other hand another report from the same source says that Kevin Spacey has revealed that Frank talks to Donald Trump whenever he faces the camera. Spacey was said to be joking that but it also be a hint to what the creators have in store for the next season.

Netflix has yet to formally announce an official release date for "House of Cards" but a season four is confirmed to happen next year. And with all these rumors, the next season is expected to be more explosive than ever.
