On the side note, sources like Youth Health Mag has reported that Crouch and producer Shyamalan are in talks for a new storyline.

Rumors are also circulating online that a potential 'Wayward Pines' Season 2 would have a new set of characters and cast. However, the show will still be in the same world. As mentioned on Christian Today, M. Night Shyamalan and author Blake Crouch revealed last July 2015 that they do have ideas for the upcoming season.
