Singapore Airlines has offered compensation to each person injured onboard flight SQ 321 in late May when it hit severe turbulence in Myanmar and was diverted to Thailand.
The airline posted on its social media that it offered to pay $10,000 to those sustaining minor injuries and $25,000 to those who suffered more serious ones.
Reuters reported that the company would offer a full fare refund to all passengers on the flight, including those who did not suffer any injuries, and S$1,000 ($739) to cover immediate expenses, which European Union and British regulations would do.
Singapore Airlines has since arranged for loved ones to fly to Bangkok, where the flight was diverted, and the injured were treated in the city's hospitals upon request.

It could be recalled that a Boeing 777-300ER flying from London to Singapore experienced turbulence above the skies of Myanmar, which caused the death of a 73-year-old British man.
The BBC reported that 211 passengers and 18 crew were on board at the time of the incident.
The Associated Press added that early investigations of the incident by the Singaporean Transport Ministry revealed that the plane rapidly accelerated up and down, dropping around 178 ft (54 m) over 4.6 seconds. During the rough ride, those not bucked to their seats were thrown out, leading to injuries.
