Spotify has unveiled a new basic streaming plan for users in the United States (US) following recent price hikes for its premium subscriptions.
The new plan, priced at $10.99 monthly, includes all the streaming perks of a premium plan minus the monthly audiobook listening time.
The basic plan offers ad-free, offline music streaming similar to premium plans but does not include the 15 hours of audiobook listening available with premium subscriptions.
On the other hand, Spotify's premium individual plan, which costs $11.99 monthly, offers offline and ad-free music listening and monthly access to audiobooks from a catalog of over 250,000 titles.

Spotify also offers several other subscription options. The premium duo plan, priced at $16.99 per month, is a value-packed option designed for two people living together and includes all premium music benefits plus shared audiobook listening time.
The premium family plan, which costs $19.99 per month, is suitable for up to six family members who live in the same household. Each member has separate accounts, so recommendations are personalized to each user's listening taste.
It offers offline and ad-free music listening with unlimited skips, as well as 15 hours of audiobook access. For those primarily interested in audiobooks, the Audiobooks Access plan is a flexible choice available for $9.99 per month. It provides 15 hours of audiobook time and ad-supported access to music and podcasts.
