Are Omarion and Apryl Jones broken up? This has been suggested by MediaTakeOut.com following the strained relationship between Jones and her boyfriend's mother being played out in the first episodes of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood." Citing an unnamed source, the site claimed that the couple had broken up allegedly because Apryl does not want to give their newborn baby a DNA test.

It has been believed by Omarion's mother, who has shown distaste against Apryl in the show, is not convinced that the baby is truly her grandson. After the child was born, the source added that Omarion's mother has been giving out subtle comments about the baby not being the singer's son. Moreover, the mother had hinted that the baby looked biracial. The site said that Apryl's boyfriend before Omarion was Mexican.

In a scene during the latest episode of "Love & Hip Hop," Omarion is seen realizing that his new priority at the point of his life is Apryl and the baby after his talk with his mother. When Omarion complained about Apryl's raging hormones due to the pregnancy, his mother accused his girlfriend of being selfish and materialistic.

MStarz noted that the tension between Apryl and Omarion's mother has garnered fans, including Snoop Dogg. In the rapper's Instagram account, Snoop posted a video on Instagram of him watching the episode where Omarion's mother tells Apryl that she does not like her. Snoop shared the video with a caption that read, "Moms gotta go cuz. You need to put her in a nursing home or something. She's f**kin' up your relationship. The show is crazy!"
