While fans are still trying to move on from what happened last Monday on "Gotham" television series, Fox released a short clip of what to look forward to in Monday's episode of Gotham season 2. The latest episode of Gotham entitled "By Fire" will air this Monday, October 26th.
The short clip featured Firefly who is roaming Gotham City with a flamethrower and burning whatever stands in her way. Sources from Hollywood Hills gave a heads-up on the new episode that will be aired on Monday. The city gets fired up on an all-new "Gotham", after Bridgit Pike (guest star Michelle Veintimilla). Meanwhile, Kringle and Nygma's relationship will take a new step and Penguin and Galavan will continue to battle for control of Gotham City's underworld.
Sources from International Business Times revealed that Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) was not around in episode 5, but he will be back in "By Fire." The promo video shows Bruce throwing punches with Alfred (Sean Pertwee). Bruce is picking the perfect time to learn how to fight, especially after it was revealed that Theo plans to eventually kill Bruce in order to settle an old family feud between the Dumas and the Waynes.
In the previous episode of Gotham as reported by International Business Times, Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) finally makes progress in attempting to rescue his mother from the clutches of Theo Galavan (James Frain). Meanwhile, Galvan has set the wheels in motion in his mission to take over Gotham City. His real motive is revealed as it becomes known that he has a vendetta against Bruce Wayne.
The brothers bully Bridgit into doing the dangerous jobs and she unexpectedly starts enjoying it. Bridgit insists that she knows what she's doing when Selina talks her out of it. She then proceeds to burn down another one of Galavan's targets but unfortunately for her, detective Jim Gordon and the GCPD Strike Force are waiting for them.
Will they stop Firefly from burning the people in the city? Who was the other person with her? Tune in this Monday 8 PM on Fox.
