Lamar Odom's recovery is reportedly going smoothly for now as he is currently in California. He and his wife, Khloé Kardashian are staying married, withdrawing their petition for divorce.
Last Monday, the former NBA star was discharged from Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas to be transported to a facility within the vicinity of Los Angeles. The player came out his coma last Friday, according to Entertainment News Online. His wife, Khloé Kardashian never left his side as he goes through this rough patch in his life. Through the rest of his recovery, Khloé is expected to be there for him as he is expected to be in the hospital until further notice. His health is slowly improving already, his speech is becoming clearer.
Lamar was transported via a helicopter as reported by Daily Motion and his supportive although separated wife, Khloé was photographed exiting the hospital. He is currently being treated for aspiration pneumonia. Despite the reports of kidney damage in his immune system, a transplant is no longer necessary and what was damaged can still be fixed. It has been reported that the doctors will maintain his dialysis for now. His wife thanks all their family, friends and fans who have been praying for Lamar's recovery. His kids, Destiny Odom and Lamar Odom Jr. are expected to visit him in Los Angeles sometime soon.
As for the updates on Lamar and Khloé's marriage, reports made by NBC News stated that according to the court documents filed on Wednesday, the couple have decided to stay married and no longer pushing through with the divorce. Kardashian's attorney, Laura Wasser was the one who came to the judge to withdraw their petition for divorce. The petition for withdrawal was then approved the day after, implying that their divorce case is over. Despite the circumstances when Lamar was found having multiple drugs in his system and found unconscious with two women, his wife still never left his side since the incident.
Despite filing for divorce earlier this year, Khloé obviously still has concerns for her husband, prompting her to withdraw the petition for divorce. Their fans are certainly happy and now just waiting for Lamar's full recovery.
