Ugly family secrets of a reality TV family will be revealed in one of the longest running American crime and legal drama Law & Order: Special Victims Season 17. The Episode 7 entitled Patrimonial Burden will touch a sensitive subject and will star Mariska Hargitay (Lt. Benson), Ice T (Det. Tutuola), Kelli Giddish (Det. Rollins), and Peter Scanavino (Det. Carisi).
Celebrity Laundry summarizes the previous episode involving racial issues entitled Maternal Instinct as follows: a suspect for raping a colleague - a famous violinist has no memory of committing the crime, instead claimed he was framed by an escort by drugging and robbing him; while Sgt. Mike Dodds (Andy Karl) reported back to the squad to help in the investigation.
Episode 6 of Law & Order SVU Season 17 also showed a personal aspect of Detective Amanda Rollins, which is the protective mother side. As to prepare for Rollins' fast approaching due date, her mom Beth (Virginia Madsen) a baby shower. The event was attended by the whole squad to support Rollins. The baby shower became a disaster for Rollins when her mom embarrassed her when Beth starts drinking and flirts with Peter Scanavino.
In the Law & Order: SVU Season 17 Episode 7, Hwhills reveals that the squad will deal with a case which involves a pregnant 13-year-old and is inspired by a popular reality TV Family series.
