Total War: Warhammer has shown the fans quite some fancy details for the past number of months since it was announced to be in existence. The title's release date, however, is still in question-until recently, along with the announcement of a new downloadable content that gamers will find most "chaotic".
According to PC Gamer, it was not so far back when the Dwarfs were introduced to the field of Total War: Warhammer. With their artillery advantage over the rest of the races, they showed that they aren't one race to mess with; going head to head with the Orcs, Empire and the Undead. Now, Creative Assembly announced the newest addition to the roster, the Chaos Warriors.
Delivered by Game Spot, the Chaos Warriors, however, are not entirely free to all. It comes in the form of downloadable content, which will come free to the players who are to pre-order the title. There is no word, however, as to whether the said downloadable content will be available for sole purchase, though many speculations based on SEGA's actions depict that it will.
As reported by Eurogamer, the Chaos Warriors Race Pack is somewhat inspired from the past decisions by SEGA in terms of convincing the gamers to pre-order in order to avail the exclusive content. This was seen in the previous Total War: Rome 2 which can remembered to have the Greek States as a pre-order bonus for fans to chase. This decision caused the said content to have been the most pre-ordered title in the 15-year history of the franchise, amounting to £5.99 and purchased on Steam with three playable factions.
The same expectation is bestowed upon the Chaos Warriors Race Pack, as it contains three playable lords that have been given their own narrative-driven quest chain which can attract the gamers to do opt for the pre-order. On a more pessimistic but not impossible note, gamers may still recall the mishap that happened back in 2013 during the launch of Rome 2, which caused trouble to most players.
Total War: Warhammer is scheduled to be released on April 28, 2016.
