"The Walking Dead" Season 6's previous episode has gotten the Twitterverse and the whole fandom of the series raving as Glenn might have been killed off. On the other hand, speculations about why he might not have been killed have been revealed.
According to Vanity Fair, this week's episode of "The Walking Dead" ended with a major cliffhanger as fans are not sure and are in denial that fan-favorite character Glenn might have been killed. The publication shared that Glenn Rhee was seen falling into a grasping horde of zombies and he "appeared" to have had his guts ripped out.
However, a lot are saying that it is possible that his companion Nicholas was the one being torn into shreds when he ended up on top of Glenn. But according to the Wall Street Journal, it is really possible that he has been killed since he was surrounded by hundreds of walkers with no ammo, no police gear, or anything that could help him escape.
USA Today also offered more speculations proving that Glenn has not been killed off. According to the report, showrunner Scott Gimple recently shared, "So I will say this: In some way we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn, or parts of Glenn again...either in flashback or current story, to help complete the story."
The supposed death of Glenn was also too telegraphed as in the episode, he talked about how much he loves Maggie and that he would die to protect her and the community. He also took a look at the watch that Hershel gave him and told Rick "Good luck, dumb ass."
Meanwhile, another death might be threatening Rick Grimes since in the ending of episode 3 of "The Walking Dead," he was seen in an RV surrounded by a massive zombie horde and the car won't star while the undead are closing in on him.
"The Walking Dead" Episode 3 saw Glenn possibly dying as a herd of zombies surrounded him and Nicholas and it remains unknown if Rick will also survive. Watch the next episode of the AMC series to see if Glenn and Rick will end up dead.
