EPs Kerry Ehrin and Carlton Cuse hint that Norman Bates could be his mother's murderer. Ehrin also confirmed that Chick Hogan will be back in "Bates Motel" Season 4. Moreover, the upcoming season will focus on Dylan and Emma's relationship.
Showrunners Kerry Ehrin and Carlton Cuse tease that Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) could be a victim of Norman, her own son's violent actions due to his mental disorder. According to Vine Report, could either be killed by her own son or by the criminals that she told Sheriff Romeo (Nestor Carbonell) about. The showrunners also revealed that they ended Norma's character because she lacks of popularity.
Ehrin also reveals that Chick Hogan also known as the "Crazy Mountain Man" will be returning in "Bates Motel" Season 4. Bustle mentions that, Chick Hogan is a motorcycle shop owner in town. Chick also makes money by managing an illegal firearms business from his property, near Dylan's (Max Thieriot) new farm.
Other than that, the upcoming season of "Bates Motel" will feature the continuing romance of Norman's older brother Dylan and his love interest, Emma Decody (Olivia Cooke). Fans and viewers will expect more intimate scenes from the two. On the other hand, Norman will find himself inside the Pineview Sanitarium once again. This time, he will be dealing with severe insanity which will eventually lead to a major psychopath, as Realty Today reports.
The showrunners discuss the possibility that Norma's own son could be her killer. They also stated that a crazy mountain man will be appearing in "Bates Motel" Season 4. Moreover, the newest season will feature the lovelife of Norman's older brother. While Norman will be back to the Pineview Sanitarium once more.
