Rockstar Games' GTA 5 has completely been rigged with numerous updates over time as the game progressed to what it is today. After the Lowrider DLC has been introduced to the family for the Online version, a creepier, spookier expansion may just do the trick in making the Halloween spirit come to life.
According to Christian Today, a leaked image of a spiked baseball bat with the captioning Undead Nightmare has become a circulating fad for the title recently. The same name can be remembered to be part of a Red Dead Redemption expansion which also belongs to Rockstar Games, and because of it, fans have speculated that this particular scenario gives away the possibility of a Halloween downloadable content update.
Fans may have used the reference to conclude the said tendency but Rockstar Games themselves have confirmed that there will actually be a Halloween downloadable content update, according to iDigital Times. Well enough, the downloadable content has been rumored to have a Slasher Adversary mode that will make things creepier for the title.
Delivered by International Business Times, the GTA 5 Halloween DLC will force players to defend themselves around a pitch-black Los Santos, as a player labelled as a Slasher will slowly track the others down. The thrill of the game starts off when the players are given only a simple flashlight to roam around with, let alone defend against the antagonist. Though there will be other weapons to aid in the repelling of the Slasher, it will not come as soon as wanted.
More on the update has been revealed recently, especially the interesting fact that the flashlight needs to be bought, and that it has a limit on how long it will last. It is priced at $14,500 worth of in-game currency, and once it runs out, an extra $100 will be required to keep it running. The GTA 5 Halloween DLC also features multiple masks that are also purchasable at a certain amount which is estimated to go a little bit towards a million worth of GTA dollars.
