Starbucks, the most popular coffee brand in the world, has a special treat for both Halloween lovers and coffee enthusiasts as they announced plans on releasing a new vampire-inspired beverage, the Frappula.
The Frappula Frappucino is a delicious cold-blended beverage with tasty ingredients such as white chocolate sauce, milk, and whipped cream.
The blood-like sauce is nothing more than syrup which, according to a CNBC post, will either be raspberry or strawberry syrup, depending on the location of the Starbucks branch.
Customers in Europe and Latin America will be able to enjoy the strawberry-poured variety of the beastly-looking drink.
For those who are wondering about how this drink is prepared, Bustle provides a detailed description of how the barista does it, which involves pouring a layer of mocha sauce on the bottom and then adding a generous dose of whipped cream in the middle and topmost layer of the beverage.
According to reports, the Frappula will be available from Oct. 28 till the end of the month.
Aside from the vampire-inspired Frappula, one other item on the Starbucks menu has also received special attention from customers for the past week.
In partnership with Seattle Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch, the coffee company created a limited edition drink known as Beast Mode.
In a coverage done by Forbes, Lynch intends to put 24 cents of every Beast Mode beverage sold to his foundation, Fam 1st Family Foundation, which was founded by Lynch with the goal of empowering youth throughout the US through mentoring and lectures.
Lynch shared with Forbes how the project is important to him and Buffalo Bill's quarterback Joshua Johnson so kids "are able to excel in school and life against all odds."
Lynch expects his foundation to receive up to $100,000 from the partnership struck with Starbucks. The coffee company has also given the running back player $24,000 for the Fam 1st Family Foundation as a tribute to Lynch's jersey number.
