Catastrophe Season 2 Is Back With A New Baby

By

Catastrophe's season 2 trailer showed Sharon and Rob welcoming a baby boy as shared by International BusinessTimes. Rob is having trouble at the office while Sharon is struggling on being a mother.

Also featured on the trailer, Rob got suspended for sexual assault. At this moment, fans can safely say that Rob's presence at home will irritate Sharon. Although in season 1, Sharon often asked Rob to leave the house for some privacy.

At one point in the trailer, Sharon told Rob that she thinks it might have been irresponsible for them to procreate. What can be called their honeymoon facet in season 1 might turn horrible in season 2, specially since there's a baby to deal with.

While The Telegraph mentioned that Rob and Sharon's dysfunctional family came together for the baptism of the baby, an affair intended to "cross off all our visitors in one horrible afternoon." Bring in awkward speeches, tears and tantrums and an even more awkward breastfeeding-themed cake. Sharon was worried that she would not love the baby as much as her first-born because of its resemblance of an alien Gene Wilder and seemed "manipulative, like it was plotting something." Rob's mother outstayed her welcome by several weeks which made Sharon to describe her as "a malevolent haemorrhoid of a woman".

Female First takes us back to where it all started. Catastrophe tells the story of an American guy Rob who impregnates an Irish woman Sharon, afterwhich they come together and focus on how to get by in life day by day as parents-to-be when they have no idea how to be one.

Catastrophe is a relatable television series as it talks about how hard it is to be parents especially when you're not planning for it. The series also sheds some light about how hard raising not just one but two kids is and how to manage family ties as well.

Catastrophe season 2 premiered in the UK last Tuesday, October 27.
