Orege Gets New Capital From IPO

French water technology company Orege SA raised Eur20 million with the completion of an initial public offering that was posted on Euronext Paris. This is to fund the next phase of the growth of their company.

The IPO values for Orege, according to Climate Change Capital Private Equity (CPE), saw a significant increase at about Eur60 million comparing this to CPE's initial investment of Eur 6 million in 2001.

Institutional investors Robeco, Alpinves and Universities Superannuation Scheme back CPE in its investment to provide expansion capital in clean power, water and waste recovery.

Orege specializes in regeneration and waste water treatment. Orege SA is keen on developing and implementation of innovative expertise, as well as providing customized treatment solutions for industrial effluents and process water.

CPE is a European private equity fund. It invests in expansion capital for high growth, later stage companies. It also buy outs in the areas of clean transport, energy efficiency, clean power, waste recovery.
