King Francis' health is getting worse by the minute as what fans saw from last week's episode of "Reign". From International Business Times, the previous episode featured Toby Regbo's character Francis as his health is deteriorating and Mary, played by Adelaide Kane, doing everything she can to save her husband's life. This week's episode titled "The Price" shows Mary asking the help from a witch to cure Francis' health, in which she is willing to trade her life for it.
Desperate times calls for desperate measures, according to Latin Post. Love is sacrificed as what Mary did when she seeks the help of the supernatural to save her beloved even if it means putting her life in danger. Charles sought the help of a witch to save Francis, the King of France. Game of Thrones fans will remember the disaster that resulted when one of its main cast sought help from a witch. With this story, it is proven to be useless for Mary, the Queen of Scots to save her husband even if she willing to give up her own life for it. Latin Post also reminded viewers of the French history that Francis' illness will take his life. The show has strayed from the original story before but the producers are still not willing to change the inevitable.
"The Price" will air this Friday, November 6 but TVOvermind gave the fans an early sneak peek for the next two episodes ahead. Pictures of "In A Clearing" are circulating the web which featured Mary in a deadly situation with Francis fighting to save her. Because of this, it could also mean Francis is still alive after this Friday's episode. The same episode also featured the King and Queen of France having intimate moments together and Nostradamus' return.
TVOvermind also shared the episode "Fight or Flight" and although there are no photos yet, The CW gave an intriguing description of this episode. It says Mary is aligning herself with Catherine which seem to be the most intriguing and interesting part of the series. One can never expect what these queens are up to when they decide to team up.
Reign's episode is set to air this Friday, and knowing that Francis is still alive and fighting for the next episode after "The Price", fans could only hope for the best.
