Lenovo has revealed its latest Yoga 700 laptop just recently. There are two versions of this hybrid device, an 11-inch and a 14-inch. Both are designed for consumers who are in tight budget, but want high-performance laptops.
According to Johnson Jia, Lenovo's PC Business Group Senior Vice President, "consumers can get a premium quality convertible laptop for work and travel at the price of a standard laptop." The Chinese tech company is expected to deliver portability, rich display and sound, as well as speedy performance with its latest offering. Also, there are four available usage modes for the 2-in-1 laptop Yoga 700 series - laptop, stand, tent, and tablet.
The 11-inch Lenovo Yoga 700 variant weighs 1.1kg and is just 15.8mm thin, making it the ideal partner when on the go and traveling light. It sports an 11.6-inch full HD display and a 40Whr Li-polymer battery that can last up to 7 hours. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit Intel Core m3-6Y30 chipset and Intel HD Graphics 515. Moreover, it includes 4GB of RAM, USB 3.0 and micro HDMI ports, as well as 128GB of SSD storage.
Meanwhile, the 14-inch version features a full HD IPS display with 700:1 contrast ratio, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of SSD storage expandable up to 256GB. It is backed by a 4-cell Li-Polymer 45Whr battery, which gives the users enough power to write reports and transfer files. Under the hood, it is powered by Intel's latest Core i7 Skylake processor with Intel HD Graphics 520 and 2 GB of NVIDIA GeForce GT 940M. Additionally, it includes a card reader and USB 2.0 and HDMI ports.
In terms of retail pricing, the 11-inch variant will cost starting at $649, while the 14-inch device is priced at $799. Furthermore, the two Yoga 700 devices run on Windows 10 operating system and are equipped with 10-point multitouch support and Dolby DS1.0 Home Theater for remarkable audio experience. Both also come with the AccuType backlit keyboard for trouble-free typing even in low light situations.
Overall, the Lenovo Yoga 700 laptops are very promising. They will be available for purchase within this month, so watch out for the official release date.
