It has been a public knowledge how much Ian wants to start a family already, as he is very open about this during his interviews. According to Youth Health Magazine, Nikki is more focused on her career now and having a child might possibly ruin that. This issue has allegedly been the cause of the couple's non-stop fighting.
In addition to that, Ian is continually still being linked to ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev, even though she has been flaunting her relationship with Austin Stowell over the past few months now. Yibada reports that Ian and Nikki may only seem like a perfect couple but a lot of arguments are going on beyond what the public can see. The 27-year-old Nikki is still very ambitious and wants to push back her husband's desires to start a family soon. With this, the couple seem to be incompatible yet. They both have different opinions on certain issues.
However, despite their differences in their relationship, they manage to stick together to promote animal rights, which has been one of their common ground since they started dating. The couple were carrying their dog in a video that was promoted by The Humane Society of the United States, according to Realty Today. Reed also recently collaborated with the founder and designer of Freedom of Animals, Morgan Bogle to create and promote fashion items without the usage of animal products.
Non-stop rumours on Ian and Nikki's alleged differences could spark truth to it. However, without any confirmation from either one of them, they still seem to remain happily married.
