Since the polls have opened, fans of currently hottest Kpop male groups are having the most intense battle in MNET's Asian Music Awards voting.
MNET Asian Music Awards or MAMA is held annually by CJ E&M. This is one of the major Kpop music awarding ceremonies to settle once and for all who are the reigning king and queen among the number of music artists and groups in Korea.
But while idol groups look forward to being nominated among the 17 categories, this is also a major event for fans. MAMA is the time where groups' devotees can show their dedication as they vote for their bias.
And currently, fans of EXO and BigBang are passionately fighting each other to see if BigBang remains to be acknowledged as no.1 or will EXO finally take their place. Four of the available categories are dominated by EXO and BigBang's names and the number of votes relentlessly goes higher.
The current results to date reveal that the two groups' competition remain as heated as the first three days of the poll with the groups' gap goes as low as 0.1 percent to only 3 percent.
In the Best Male Group category, BigBang leads with 30.8 percent or 3,540,695 votes with EXO following close with 30.6 percent or 3,524,688 votes.
In Best Dance Performance, EXO's "Call Me Baby" is on the lead with 32.3 percent or 3,713,823 votes. And of course, unyielding BIGBANG's "Bang, Bang, Bang" follows with 30 percent or 3,452,216.
While the two aforementioned categories showed the same initial results, for UnionPay Artist of the Year category, the leading roles have officially swapped, EXO, with 3,578,412 votes overlapped BIGBANG's 3,551,478. The two were tied in 28 percent, but now EXO is at 27.5 percent and BIGBANG at 27.3.
Lastly, in UnionPay Song of the Year BIGBANG's "Bang Bang Bang" leads with 29.1 percent with actual votes now reached to 3,791,639, followed by EXO's "Call Me Baby" with 28.1 percent or 3,665,379 votes.
These results only reveal the current standing as of article's actual writing time.
Though on the outside, fans are simply filling in sign up information and love-blindedly clicks for their group's name in all categories, the intensity of EXO's versus BigBang's supporters is really something to look forward to.
How about you? Who is your bias? Vote now.
Voting ends on Dec. 1 as MNET's Asian Music Awards 2015 will be held in Hong Kong on Dec. 2.
