'Teen Mom' 2 Season 7 Renewal Confirmed by MTV, Premiere by Summer 2016; Leah Messer to Exit Show for her Kids?

The renewal for "Teen Mom 2" Season 7 is official. However, Leah Messer confirms that she's leaving the show to focus on her children. While Kailyn Lowry revealed that she's currently filming for the newest season.

It is finally confirmed that "Teen Mom 2" has already been ordered for a new season, as reported on The Ashley's Realty Roundup. In addition to that, the filming and production for its 7th season has already started early in October. However, it is not yet confirmed if all teen moms will be renewing their contracts for the upcoming season.

Speaking of contract renewals, Leah Messer confirms that she is not signing on for "Teen Mom 2" Season 7. Messer decided to leave the reality TV series to focus on her children, according to IB Times. It was also reported that Messer returned in the previous season only to bash the show claiming it was scripted.

Meanwhile, during the Star magazine Scene Stealer Party in Los Angeles, Wetpaint mentions that Kailyn Lowry revealed that she's currently filming for a new season of "Teen Mom 2". Lowry also shared that her five-year-old son Isaac's dad, Jo Rivera just had a new baby with his girlfriend Vee Torres. She said, "Isaac loves his baby sister and we're all supportive of that. Its kind of like our extended family is growing. We're a big blended family." Isaac's new stepsister is named Velisse.

As of now, the official premiere date of "Teen Mom 2" Season 7 has not been announced. However, speculations suggest that the show is expected to air anytime soon in summer 2016. "Teen Mom 2" is an American reality TV series which follows the four girls from "16 and pregnant".
