Super Mario Maker is making its way to be one of Nintendo's strongest titles as it gains popularity for its creative feature. Upon its September release, fans have already discovered some minor glitches. Updates, on the other hand, are intended for the gameplay, as well as for the game's editing features.
A free update for Super Mario Maker is set for release on November 5. The update features interesting tweaks for both the gameplay and the editor features. One feature is the Checkpoint Flag which would help the player in the toughest levels as the player's character would be able to respawn at checkpoint areas at mid-level. Game Reactor reports that other features include the "new dual-mode for the Fire Flower, a new official maker area for Nintendo-created levels, special event online courses, and even a more challenging version of the Gnat Attack easter egg".
The side scrolling platform Super Mario Maker is developed by Nintendo in order to create levels for Super Mario games, as discussed by Yibada. Exclusive for Nintendo Wii U, the game can create levels for video games like Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, and New Super Mario Bros. U. Since the game's September release, players start to notice some minor glitches in just a couple of months. The most recent glitch, first discovered by Reddit user in the name of 'jonahhl' allows a player to place bigger enemies on a single tile, and smaller enemies in between tiles.
Nintendo's Super Mario Maker has remained to be one of the mostly-played titles due to its new creative approach, International Business Times commented. Amiibo, being responsible for the game design, is the reason behind the many costumes in the game. To date, Super Mario Maker is still among Nintendo's stronger titles as it remains in the upper half of the top 40 games in the UK charts since its September release.
