Britney Spears' ninth album is confirmed. Earlier this week, the "Pretty Girls" singer posted a rather blurry photo of herself with two known songwriters. While it looks like she was just hanging out with the two, her caption reveals that her upcoming album will be done with Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels' collaboration.
"Working hard and hardly working...new album...wheeeee!" captioned the singer.
Though the confirmation of the album was revealed through a low-quality Insta post, it looks like Spears is hard at work recording what she referred to as #B9.
Reportedly, the 33-year-old pop icon has been hinting this new instalment in her social media account and while there's no telling if #B9 could be the album's name, the singer is really enjoying teasing her fans.
"JUST finished recording some vox. LOVE this song. It makes ME smile, and I hope it will make you smile too... #B9" Britney tweeted.
As Popsugar disclosed, the two persons she's with in the photo are known for co-writing in a streak of pop song smashes these days. Both Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels are establishing their own names in their field and if you're wondering what the big deal behind this collaboration is, read on.
Justin Tranter is the lead singer of band Semi Precious Weapons. But this rocker is also known to rock as a songwriter for today's popular songs. On the other hand, Julia Michaels, who released her debut single "Born To Party" is also embarking the song writing career and hitting it off only at the age of 21.
While both have their own different talents, when combined, the result is today's hit songs. Some of the works they produced together are Hailee Steinfeld's "Love Myself," Justin Bieber's "Sorry," Gwen Stefani's "Used To Love You," and a number of Selena Gomez's tracks including "Good For You," "Hands To Myself" and "Me & The Rhythm."
And now that they're collaborating with the legendary pop singer Britney Spears, they're all in for great expectations. Looking forward to a good music in #B9.
