The November release of Batman Arkham Knight's final DLC comes with a refund of the game's PC release to indemnify fans who have waited for the PC re-launch only to find out that some in-game issues still exist. On the other hand, sites had a DLC recap and reviewed whether the Season Pass is worth its contents.
The latest DLC of Warner Bros.'s Batman Arkham Knight has been laid out and now, it is time to subject it to analysis as Shacknews believes. The site posted an analysis on the potential 'pros and cons' which would determine whether the Season Pass is worth the fan expenses. It laid down the game's pros as the following: Arkham Episodes, plenty of AR challenges, and interesting movie themes. The cons, on the other hand, include no guarantee of a satisfying conclusion, base game's lacking of AR content, and that the Season of Infamy expansion may not turn out well in general.
The November DLC for Batman Arkham Knight includes 'A Flip of a Coin' Robin story mission, Batmobile-themed skins for Robin and The Riddler, and a Wayne Tech race track as reported by Yibada. Also included are expansions such as Catwoman's Revenge and the fourth Crime Fighter Challenge Pack featuring Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Azrael, and Catwoman. Additional AR challenges were also included, inspired by the GCPD Lockdown DLC. Lastly, a Season Pass is also available, entitled 'Season of Infamy', featuring Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, and Ra's Al Ghul.
Despite the PC version being stopped in the game's initial release last June, the developers promised a PC re-launch in the latter portion of the year. However, the surrounding issues remained as it was removed shortly from Steam. It appeared that issues have not been resolved and fans are promised of a refund until the end of the year. The developers have already apologized for the several glitches and in-game issues. As compensation, free Arkham Games shall be offered on Steam, along with refunds to those who purchased the main game. The DLC, however, could not be returned either as a whole or separately. Geek Snack reports that Green Man Gaming has confirmed handing out refunds to purchasers on the store's Facebook page.
