Sam Smith is taking a time off from music for a very good reason. During his guesting at 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' he explained that he will be taking a break from music to 'kiss more boys' and have more inspirations and source to write and make more songs.

According to Cosmopolitan UK, Sam Smith came up with this very recent decision of taking some time off, and is open to the idea of it might still change. The 'Lay Me Down' singer also expressed that he changes his mind every time - so it is more likely that this decision could still change. Sam Smith is planning to take a full year off from the music scene - on a serious note, it is because he just need to live his life for a bit; perhaps going to basic, in a little.

The Grammy-award winning artist has all valid points on why he is considering to temporary rest from the limelight. Following his very recent music, a theme song from the newest James Bond film - 'Writing's On The Wall,' was his pondering on is decision to take some rest. Hollywood Life also cited that in lie with Sam Smith's idea, he also wants to experience more so he can write songs more and give his fans and big following the best songs possible.

Moreover, Sam Smith is really serious about his recent need to live his life. Huffington Post also shared that the 23-year old singer wants to spice up his personal life more - and it refers to not just romance but in the general as well. He also exclaimed that he got a new home in London and a cat, too. In this light, if given a chance, Sam Smith want to spend some time on the dating scene as well. The singer said that he is always inspired by stuff like that - his romantic experiences as source of each lyrics.

Sam Smith just recently backed from surgery and in lieu with his decision to take some time off are valid points why he really should. The singer wanted to experience more and therefore have more inspiration and source to write more wonderful songs.
