One Direction: fans shocked that Made in the A.M. released early

UK boy band One Direction and Canadian singer Justin Beiber had its fans going crazy when the band's latest album, Made in the A.M. and Beiber's Purpose were suddenly released in retail stores before the expected release date.

Fans have been super hyped up for One Direction's upcoming album because the boy band has been hard at work promoting the album around the world. From releasing song clips to official artwork for some of the songs, One Direction has been stirring up excitement for the fanbase.

The album was set to release on November 13 this year, but fans were shocked and angry to find that Walmart and Target have begun selling the album as early as November 6.

Both retail stores have not explained the sudden release of these albums yet, but fans have taken it to Twitter to express their sentiments about the early album release, using the now trending hashtag "#NoPlayPURPOSEandMITAM".

One fan tweeted "DONT BUY THE ALBUM. RESPECT THEM #NoPlayPURPOSEandMITAM," on his Twitter account.

According to Hollywood Life, rumor has spread that if any of the album copies are sold before the release date, it will not be counted on the first week of sales. This rumor made the fans not to purchase the early released album and to wait until Friday, November 13 instead as evident in their campaign on Twitter.

Alongside the One Direction album, Justin Bieber's album Purpose was also released early by the same retail stores. Purpose is set to be released on November 13 as well. The early release of Justin Bieber's album sparked a supportive relationship between the two fanbases despite the history of not-so-good relationship between the two, as told by Realty Today.

One Direction came out with singles such as "Drag Me Down", "Perfect", "Infinity", and just recently "History" before the release of Made in the A.M., while Bieber came out with "What do you mean?", and "Sorry" before the release of Purpose.

The album Made in the A.M. will be One Direction's first album without ex-band member Zayn Malik and their last album before taking a long break. On the other hand, Purpose will be Bieber's first album after a three-year hiatus.
