Kids and kids at heart who loves the sea and all of its creatures will be thrilled to know that the year 2016 will be full of surprises since after ten years of waiting, Disney's Finding Nemo will be having its sequel swim to Cinemas on June 2016 with Finding Dory. Interesting new characters are also to look forward to.
Thanks to Disney for revealing some of its good ol' movies with their upcoming sequels and their date of release which will make us mark our calendars ahead of time, Finding Dory will be set for release on June 2016, according to Movie Pilot.
Aside from the excitement that this news had sparked, hearsays have been spreading like wildfire that Marlin, a clownfish and Nemo's father will not be around for the sequel. But worry no more since according to Cinemablend, Marlin will still be part of the movie, still with Albert Brooks voice. Also staying in the movie will be Ellen Degeneres who will Dory's voice, but unfortunately, Alexander Gould who used to be Nemo's voice will no longer be part of the crew since he already turned 21, and instead will be voiced over by Hayden Rolence. This change is inevitable because even though the sequel has been released a decade after, the plot of the movie has been set to happen just six months after Finding Nemo's events took place.
Avid fans will also be thrilled with the fresh addition of characters that will make the movie more fun to watch and informative too. New members of the cast will be - Destiny, a confused whale shark (Kaitlin Olson), Hank, a short-tempered octopus (Ed O'Neill) and Bailey the beluga whale (Ty Burrell), enumerates Rappler.
A fun to watch movie, Finding Dory is the sequel to Finding Nemo which will now center Dory - an absent minded blue tang that is on her quest in finding her biological parents. Finding Dory is directed and written by Andrew Stanton and produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Its roster of cast includes Ellen DeGeneres as Dory, Albert Brooks as Marlin, Hayden Rolence as Nemo, Diane Keaton as Jenny (Dory's mother), Eugene Levy as Charlie (Dory's father), Ty Burrell as Bailey, Kaitlin Olson as Destiny and Ed O'Neill as Hank.
