Metal Gear Solid 6 Rumors: Is Konami About to Make A Continuity to The Phantom Pain?

By

The possibility of a Metal Gear Solid VI has been a massive talk not long after the release of the current title, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Konami has basked in the success of the fifth installment, but the question of having a continuity is a debatable one.

According to Gaming Bolt, many fans have thought of the tendency of a sixth installment for the Metal Gear series, but of course, this may not come as smoothly as before-of course, under the condition that Hideo Kojima will no longer be working with Konami for the succeeding installments. Though this may be a pessimistic piece of news which was confirmed months back, it did not stop Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain from launching itself to the public and garnering success drastically.

Latin Post delivered that Metal Gear Solid VI is not at all impossible, and it may continue the legacy of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain with utmost ease. However, given that the current title that Konami has put so much effort on did not come cheap at all, a massive amount of money will be needed in order to make the continuation of the franchise as big a hit as the existing.

In other news, Games Radar reported that the game may still undergo some updates in the near future-only a speculation as of the moment, but with a large successful title resounding in the open, fans assume that it is not at all impossible. With one of the recent downloadable content stirring controversial criticism because of a rather revealing series of contents, preceding that of Quiet's default outfit, it would be safe for the gamers to presume that more will come eventually, before the possible sixth installment.

Metal Gear Solid VI is still not a concrete idea, but definitely not unreachable. Given the success of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Konami may just see the possibility of another hit in the form of a sixth title.
