Taylor Swift recently opened up about her 'squad' and why she believes they won't use her to gain their own fame. Boyfriend Calvin Harris is as excited as can be as Taylor ends her tour and will soon be back in each other's arms.
According to a report from the International Business Times, Taylor Swift recently opened up to Vogue Australia about her relationship with her 'squad' and why she believes that they won't use her for their own fame. Taylor explained how her large group of friends helped her remain humble and why she believes there aren't any social climbers in her circle of girls.
"I think one of my main goals in trying to preserve my sense of reality has been to surround myself with friends who have their own careers, and who don't need me for any sense of validation or social climbing, or a career statement.'
Another report by the Belfast Telegraph UK explains how the 'Bad Blood' hit maker is open and willing to listen to the opinions and criticism of her friends. "My friends have all solidified themselves in their own careers and so if they think that I shouldn't put out a certain single as a first single, they're going to tell me: 'That wasn't one of my favorites that you've played me Taylor,' and I'm going to respect that opinion," Swift explained.
She later on added how friends need to be comfortable enough to give honest opinions to one another, even if it's not something the other person specifically wants to hear. Taylor also explained how one must be humble enough to accept honesty, and to trust in their friends' opinions.
In other news, with the '1989' tour coming to an end, Fashion & Style reported how excited Taylor and boyfriend Calvin Harris are to be with each other again. Apparently, the two have plenty of romantic nights planned for the days ahead of Taylor's arrival which will be the day before her 26th birthday on December 13.
