Samsung ATIV Book 9 Spin Convertible Laptop Launched, Weighs 2.87 Lbs. at 0.59 Inch Thin

Samsung has recently announced its new laptop ATIV Book 9 Spin that clearly signifies the company's desire to walk a new line with its PC industry. This is a device that can also be transformed from a laptop into a tablet.

Latin Post reports that the new Samsung Ativ Book 9 Spin comes in 13.3-inch 3,200 x 1,800 screen display. This Samsung's convertible laptop has the QHD+ resolution, which does better than what Microsoft's Surface Book has. It also arrives with a lighter profile than that of the Surface Book.

In addition, the Samsung Ativ Book 9 weighs about 2.87 pounds along with an extreme thinness that comes at just 0.59 inches. This laptop boasts a battery that can run up to 7.3 hours of non-stop usage, too.

The Samsung ATIV Book 9 Spin could not feature a detachable monitor that is being boasted by the Surface Book. However, a nice concept of a convertible laptop was revealed by its refined axes. This convertible laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7 6500U processor while being backed by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD.

What's more, the 13-inch Samsung Ativ Book 9 Spin can really be perfectly used as a regular laptop. This device features a trackpad, which exactly spans through the bottom two-thirds of the device. As for its keyboard, it bounces over the full width of the laptop with capacious island keys, Tech Radar noted.

As the name of the Ativ Book 9 Spin suggests, this laptop's display has the ability to rotate 360 degrees. On the other hand, a 4K resolution feature is not being supported by this device. Still, the 13.3-inch Quad HD display of this convertible laptop has touchscreen capabilities and can be utilized as an old-style tablet or in tented approach, reports Yibada.

The recently launched Samsung ATIV Book 9 Spin which comes as a 13.3-inch convertible laptop with an ultra-thin profile was reported to carry a price tag that starts at $1,399.
