After the financial success of the "Fifty Shades of Grey," a sequel movie which was given the title of "Fifty Shades Darker" is being expected. However, since the announcement, the sequel film was wrapped up with different rumors and controversies.
A few months ago, rumors that the "Fifty Shades Darker" is casting new stars including Henry Cavill (Superman) circulated around the web. Reports, however, debunked the rumors which appeared like the production has not casted new characters yet. In a previous report, although the casting procedure remains empty, the "Fifty Shades Darker" is undergoing pre-production.
While the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie experiences lots of delays, further details are still hanging leaving the fans to doubt whether the movie will continue or it will be cancelled. According to Franchise Herald, the two original casts are asking for a $20 million raise each. The source says the raise will include a separate bonus percentage of the backend if the second film will hit just like the original movie.
In an interview with Elle Magazine, Dakota Johnson, who plays as Anastasia Steele, revealed how she prepares for her upcoming erotic role. Before she starts filming, she had to read the whole novel by E.L. James first. "While reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways the characters are breaking each other down emotionally than the sex scenes," she said. "I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be a thing that breaks a man down."
The actress also revealed her secret when filming intense sex scenes. According to the 26-year old actress, she has no problem with doing anything in her role. "The secret is I have no shame," she admitted.
Furthermore, sources have heard that Jamie Dornan wants more time to be with her pregnant wife and her child. This may be one reason of the delays being experienced by the sequel franchise.
Rumors say the studio is purposely keeping the details about the movie because it seems a little bit early for them to make a release. However, rumors say "Fifty Shades Darker" will start production on February.
