By

Suddenly, U.S. President Barack Obama decides to have his own Facebook page. With a casual first message saying, "Hello, Facebook! I finally got my very own page." The president has now 45 million followers and likes for his page.

It looks like besides earning the honour to be the very first African American ever to hold the White House, Obama also gains another title as the popular modernized president ruling in social media.

The president claims to have made his Facebook to have real conversations regarding important social issues faced by the country. As in his own words: "A place where you can hear directly from me, and share your own thoughts and stories." Then added how people can expect some fun stuff too.

Run by his political campaign, Organization for Action, Obama is expected to be seeking support with the current issues he's addressing, including mass incarceration, immigration policy and climate change.

It's been noted how the president is really eager to get the support of the mass in his desire to address the prevailing problem of climate change. In his new page, he is urging his people and all netizens to share the awareness of this global issue, as he also asks to educate friends and families so everyone becomes concerned with Earth's current state.

The 54-year-old president also uses other social media platforms like Twitter and YouTube. He utilizes these popular media in order to rally voters to support his cause.

Currently, the latest post of the president is dedicated to patriots of United States who has given their service for the country's progress. He also shares a photo of him along with officers in their uniforms, quite a dramatic picture actually. So far, all comments have been good and decent and no trolls have yet dared to troll the president.

In any case, President Obama is proving he is not wasting the 14 months he has left in the office, as he leaves another legacy to remember him by.
