‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 2 Episode 8 Review: ‘Confluence’ was not good as it seemed

The latest episode of 'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 2 proved to be more challenging for the cast and characters as their coming together in the scenes proved to be a bad move for survival for all.

A recap of the past episode of 'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 2 Episode 8 revealed that Pride (Scott Bakula) and Sonja (Shalita Grant) are ambushed after traveling to Texas as noted by Celeb Dirty Laundry. The same article added, "Apparently Don Lambert had ditched his Federal Marshal detail by climbing out through a window when they weren't looking, and so it was his own choice to walk away and yet the circumstances hadn't stopped Don's widow from somehow blaming Pride for Don's death."

The story was basically a witness protection program that ended badly for those that needed protection and the ones giving protection. Even TV Fanatic noted of how the militia guys have identified Pride and are taking the fight to him by setting him up and how the whole plan was a bit of a head-scratcher."

The past episodes were already nerve wrecking and the recent 'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 2 Episode 8 made it even more worst. Indeed, it was a moment that started badly for the cast but the whole episode eventually came out better at the end.

The upcoming episode of 'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 2 brings about a much darker period for the whole cast as the episode entitled "Darkest Hour" marks a new angle and plotline for the whole series. According to Spoilers Guide, the next episode would focus on a citywide blackout that impedes law enforcement and emergency response teams, and how Pride vows to solve the murder of a family friend's fiancé.

Even though 'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 2 Episode 8 failed to meet the viewers expectations due to its plotlines, the next episode "Darkest Hour" is expected to bring more better reactions as it airs next Tuesday on CBS.
