For the time being, 'Sleepy Hollow' has been performing well in its past episodes despite the bad news that it received. Cinema Blend further pointed, 'Sleepy Hollow' is in its third season right now, and it's been moved a few times over the past seasons. The same article has revealed, "After a mega-hit first season that saw it get picked up for a second season after only a few episodes had ever seen the light of day, the 2014-2015 season saw its critical reception and audience appreciation."
Fox remains as the top contributor for the future of 'Sleepy Hollow'. It was confirmed by Entertainment Weekly that the series is moving to a different day and a different time, making the viewers less excited of the upcoming midseason premier. This move clearly indicates a change in the ratings as well.
The first two seasons of 'Sleepy Hollow' was not enough to get the juice in for Fox to make a decision to retain the show to its current timeslot. However, as the winter schedule sets in, the fans and followers alike will have a possibility of a change of hearts since the timeslot falls on the later evenings of each Friday night.
It's amazing to note that 'Sleepy Hollow' will soon face another time change for just a short gap of time. Thankfully, for fanatics out there, the show will linger when 'Bones' might have to say goodbye forever to its faithful followers, writes Deadline.
