Travis exits the ‘Vikings’, will the series survive without him? Season 4 airs in February 2016

An imminent death awaits the next series of the 'Viking' season 4 once it comes backs on the limelight. It was rumoured that Travis will exit the show to focus on his other roles outside and the season premiere will air on February of next year.

It remains uncertain if Travis will face an impending death or will have a different plot to take in the upcoming 'Vikings' Season 4. However, one thing is certain though; Travis was one of the characters that propelled the series to greatness. Master Herald writes, "Actor Travis Fimmel, playing the role of King Ragnar Lothbrok of Kattegat, is one of the major reasons why the historical drama TV series on the History Channel is doing excellently well in viewership and ratings."

Despite his big contribution to the show, his graceful exit is imminent for the next series. It is not because of some ill feelings towards the show or the cast but Travis will leave because of other engagements. According to Ecumenical News, "

"There have been rumblings that "Vikings" star Travis Fimmel is set to leave the groundbreaking series after the fourth season as the actor is part of the ensemble cast of "Warcraft" and is playing Sir Anduin Lothar, an Alliance knight."

Furthermore, an interview from "The Hollywood Reporter reveals how the executive producer Michael Hirst pointed out that the events of season three has left the venerable Ragnar hovering between life and death. This notion also increased the rumors that in season four; the Vikings will overthrow the king and replace him with his son, who is Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig).

Although Fimmel's role will die in 'Vikings' Season 4 episodes, one thing is certain Fimmel will settle the score with his brother before dying out. Fans and fanatics of the series may have to wait for a while, as no specific date is set.
