Fort Washington Capital Partners Group, a private equity fund manager based in Cincinnati, had submitted its plan to launch two fresh investment funds that should raise a combined valuation around $150 million.
According to the company's filings at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Fort Washington Capital had named the two new investment funds as Fort Washington Private Equity Opportunities Fund III LP and Fort Washington Private Equity Opportunities Fund III-B LP.
The new funds were set to invest in different private equity funds. The primary round of sales had yet to occur though, the Cincinnati-based private equity firm said in the filings.
Fort Washington Capital currently works with mostly institutional investors, which are typically foundations, pension plans, and endowments. In 1999, the firm started offering fund of funds investments to third party clients but now manages about US$2.3 billion in private equity deals for private and public institutions.
A representative for Western & Southern Financial Group declined to comment on the funds quoting SEC disclosure rules. Western & Southern Financial Group owns Fort Washington Capital through subsidiaries.
