Walmart will celebrate Black Friday by giving cheap offers to its patrons. The huge retail store's advertisement for the upcoming event is now available revealing awesome and reasonable deals. These include devices from known brands like Apple, Samsung, Sony and more.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Walmart will offer great discounts on gift items like TVs, DVDs, pajamas and more, instead of having a five-day event just like last year. It will start at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving until they are gone. The retailer reportedly wants to offer longer term, though less drastic, discounts through the holiday season.
Steve Bratspies, the company's new chief merchandising officer stated that the customers are confused about the best time to shop as the door-buster products are promoted for numerous times. He also added that the company's patrons wanted it to be simple; hence, the one-time-big-time sale. Wal-Mart will offer most Black Friday deals online first, starting early on Nov. 26, Thanksgiving.
Inquistr reported that FatWalletreleased the Black Friday survey stating that 42 percent of Americans said they don't want retail stores opening on Thanksgiving. But then, it is possible to see some of these same people waiting in line for the Black Friday doorbusters.

In related news, Brent Shelton, FatWallet's online shopping expert, said that Walmart is implementing some new changes in order to ensure safety. Walmart is bringing back its store maps as well as implementing crowd management and safety plans. The company hopes that these safety precautions will trim down on the amount of Black Friday injuries that consumers incur. Wristbands will also be handed out for in-demand products, thus allowing buyers to know when an item has sold out.
With this new technique that Walmart will use, the company hopes that it would basically help the retailer store to increase its sales during Black Friday. This will be a great time for shoppers as the retailer store offers big discounts and deals despite the short period.
