Is One Direction still going strong without Zayn Malik?

By

Nothing has changed in terms of the music of boy band One Direction remaining members - Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne- even after former band member Zayn Malik left. According to Harry Styles, Made in the A.M. might probably be the best album that One Direction has released so far, Hollywood Life reports.

"I think it was obviously different, the process, because there was one less of us. But at the same time it didn't change... in terms of the writing of the album... it didn't change that much," Harry explained to Hollywood Life.

Harry further explained that the focus of the album has not changed. The boys wanted to make their fans happy by making the best music they possibly could.

"Obviously the album sounds a little bit different because you're missing a voice that was there before, but we've very much grown stronger, probably through the realization that we all have the same goal for a lot of things," Harry continued.

It was revealed that the writing for Made in the A.M. started after Zayn left the band.

According to Sugarscape, Simon Cowell, who discovered One Direction, said that the boy's music did not change whatsoever. He knew that there was an issue between all the boys, and that Zayn wasn't at all happy with the way things are going.

On the other hand, Zayn believes that the Made in the A.M.'s contender for the top spot, Justin Bieber's Purpose, is better than the One Direction album. According to Hollywood Life, the reason why Zayn likes Purpose more is because it's in the direction that Zayn wants to go with his music.

Although it seems that Zayn is happy and contented with where he is right now, he posted an Instagram photo on the release of Made in the A.M. release, as Teen Vogue reports.

Made in the A.M. will be One Direction's last album before their hiatus and the first without Zayn Malik.
