Marshmallow offers the finest features in Android devices

Now that Android 6.0 Marshmallow works with some Nexus devices, it is undeniable that the new operating system highlights many features. In this regard, published reports say that the new software version offers the finest features. These features include Android Pay, Now On Top, Doze, and App Permission.

Neuro Gadget mentioned that every smartphone that has NFC chip can be used to make payments through the credit card information attached to the phone. These devices may include Nexus 5X and 6P by Google and other Samsung devices. According to the report, there are about 700,000 stores that accept Android Pay.

Further, Now On Top, also referred to as Google Now, offers an intelligent assistant by providing information related to weather, sports scores, and traffic conditions. This means that the messages contain links that are clickable to give more details. Related report also said that users can have options to permit or not to permit an application during installation. Such feature was requested by Android users to avoid the use of their phone's information with the developers own interest.

One of the finest feature of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Doze, was also reported by Yibada. The feature enables the phone to be in sleep mode when not in use for a long period of time. A lot of users can benefit from Doze technology because this reduces battery consumption in a significant manner. In addition, the feature allows to access chrome while inside an app without needing to quit the page.

On the other hand, Pocket Lint noted other enhancements of Android 6.0 Marshmallow such as material design that includes recent apps and notification visuals, and better and faster performance. It also highlights the volume of the phone where in users can control it more through the show up of volume controller when volume up and down is hit.

As of the moment, there are Android devices that did not receive the update yet. There is no announcement from the manufacturers or Google on when they are going to issue it.
