Avid fans of the Fast and Furious movie franchise will be very thrilled to know that Fast and Furious 8 will be officially slated on the 14th of April, 2017 with F. Gary Gray as its director and with the plot of the movie that will go back to its original scheme - which is racing cars.
Fast and Furious 8 is scheduled for release on April 14, 2017 which was announced throughout the CinemaCon presentation, reported by The Hollywood Reporter. In the press conference, Vin Diesel, played as Dominic Torretto and one of the movie's leading protagonist, announced that they are "going to make the best movie you've ever seen". This is not surprising since the last movie franchise had already set its record of breaking the box office records worldwide.
Also an update of the movie is that it will be under the direction of F. Gary Gray, as stated on Deadline. F. Gary Gray is a music video and film director at the same time. He is known for directing The Italian Job. It was also elaborated that "Gray was said to be Unviersal's first choice" in terms of who will direct the movie franchise. News of him directing the movie was then strengthened by his post on his Twitter account that he will direct Furious 8.
With the news of the new director leading the development of the movie, rumors on the plot of the movie has also been spreading like wildfire. Vin Diesel after his guest appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" has confirmed that the movie might go back to its original movie plot which is based on a story from a racing car magazine tackling the life on the world of racing cars, Movie News Guide reports.
Fast and Furious 8 is the next installment from the Fast & Furious movie franchise, which will also be the first movie in the trilogy that will be a conclusion to the famous movie ensemble. It will be under the direction of F. Gary Gray and will be produced by Vin Diesel himself and Neal H. Moritz.
