Just recently, singer-actress, Rebel Wilson, smashed the famous Kardashian family for having no talent and a bad work ethic. Now, she claims that their publicity team has launched a smear campaign against her.
In an Australian radio show, Rebel Wilson spoke about how she thinks that the Kardashian family have no talent at all and have a bad work ethic. She recently declined to present an award at the VMAs with Kendall and Kylie Jenner, because she believes that everything they stand for is against what she stands for, according to Standard. Also, she said that they are not really famous for their talent and that she had to work hard to get to where she is ight now in her career. She even spoke about how Kim Kardashian got famous because of a leaked sex tape while she went to acting school and had to work really hard.
After she spoke of the Kardashians in the radio show, she tweeted how she was already "over" the comments she has made about them. However, she believes that Kardashians' publicist launched a "smear campaign" which only further showed how she does not understand how the entertainment industry works, as reported by Huffington Post. The members of the Kardashian family have nearly 200 million followers on social media. Thus, when Wilson gave out that statement, it has gotten their fans on rage, defending their idols. A lot of stars even defended the Kardashians, including famous Oprah Winfrey. Wilson still stands her ground on what she believes in and is even open to having a debate with them if given the opportunity.
Fox News reported how Oprah Winfrey saw how hardworking the Kardashian family was. "I interviewed the Kardashians two years ago and I can't believe how hard they work. People don't understand that," she said in on the same radio station after Wilson gave out her statement. Wilson however said that she's all about personality and working hard to get to where you are.
Social media has now already fuelled the conflict even more as they talked about it all the time. Rebel Wilson might have gotten over it already but the fans clearly haven't.
