Elizabeth Rohm officially joins the cast of "The Last Ship" Season 3. The 42-year-old star from "Law & Order" series will be playing the character of Allison Shaw, President Timothy Michener's (Mark Moses) Chief of Staff. Deadline further reports that Shaw is an intelligent woman who serves the president with astounding authority as she navigates the new world that has been ruined by politics.
Moreover, Bridget Regan also joins the cast as a series regular. According to Latin Post, the 33-year-old "Jane The Virgin" alum will be portraying the role of Sasha, a former Navy Intelligence Officer who is working under the new United States government in China. It has also been speculated that the cast and crew might decide to head to China for the new set.
Meanwhile, showrunners Steve Kane and Hank Steinberg shared some details about the 3rd season of "The Last Ship". As noted on Vine Report Kane stated "The adventure continues. It's a big world, and we can go anywhere. We're actually using that as an opportunity." On the other hand, Steinberg stated "Season 3 is going to expand again into the wider world which is going to be an exciting new palette and widen the scope of the show even more."
