Liam Hemsworth just recently adopted a puppy with the help of animal lover and ex-fiancee Miley Cyrus. The 'Hunger Games' star took to Wylder's Holistic Pet Center to pick up his new pup after Miley had helped him connect with the group. Apparently, the former couple had been texting a lot recently, and the former Disney star had been sending her ex loads of pictures of dogs which were available for adoption.
According to a report from Today, Liam Hemsworth has adopted a 6-month-old puppy which he named Dora. The adoption came after former girlfriend and fiancee Miley Cyrus helped the actor connect with a pet center in which Miley has been active with, and has adopted dogs from before.
Wylder's Holistic Pet and Rescue Center tweeted last Monday, "Thanks @mileycyrus for loving dogs as much as we do!! You helped find this gigantic, 6 month old puppy a new home. @liamhemsworth you will give this deserving baby a great life!" as reported by Latin Post.
Apparently, the tweet came shortly after Liam posted a picture of himself with his new friend on Instagram. The 25-year-old actor decided on the name 'Dora' after his nieces and nephew's favorite show, 'Dora the Explorer.' Miley also adopted a dog over the weekend and has named him 'Yogi.'
In another report from USA Today, Miley's dog Yogi was adopted from the 'Bella Foundation' who also posted a photo on Instagram showing their gratitude to the singer for her continuous love and support for dogs. The 22-year-old singer also took to Instagram to show off her new playmate, and introduced Yogi as her newest member to the family, and her puppy Milky's new friend.
Previous reports have claimed Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are currently communicating with each other again, and with the recent dog adoption, it looks like the former couple may be working on a possible reconciliation. For the meantime, both Liam and Miley are enjoying their new friends as they continue to support animal shelters and dog foundations.
