By

Just recently, Singers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello of Fifth Harmonyaw did a song collaboration that captured the hearts of their fans. For weeks now, Mendes has been teasing this collaboration and finally, the song was released. Just last Tuesday night, the two held a livestream event to chat with their fans. At the end of their chat, they finally dropped the long-awaited collaboration, according to Music Times. Their collaboration was entitled, "I Know What You Did Last Summer," that has nothing to do with the horror movie of the same title. The song is merely about a couple of whom one of them allegedly cheated in the relationship that happened during the summer time.

The duet will be featured on Mendes' "Handwritten Revisited" album. Cabello recently revealed that the song was written at the backstage at one of Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour shows, as reported by Billboard. The two used to jam together backstage of Taylor's world tour and ultimately came up with the song at some point. Their pop jam was waited for by their fans as they were teased by Mendes for weeks until its release.

Mendes and Cabello have been rumoured to be dating for quite some time now. There's nothing more than two teenagers who look and sing great together that will capture the teenagers out there as well. According to KDrama Stars, they first sparked dating rumours during the summer when they posted photos of them together on instagram and casually exchanged tweets with each other. It is quite too soon to tell if the two are really dating at this point, but their fans are definitely rooting for them already.

The recent collaboration of the two teenage pop singers has now gone viral among their fellow teenagers. The song is already available in itunes.
