Today, Britain's largest construction company, Balfour Beatty Plc, signed a joint venture with Sydney Water. Their recently established venture would begin in Australia.
Sydney Water, Australia's biggest water utility would be helped by the Balfour Beatty Leed venture. Its system requirements would be aided while concentrating on the slip-lining and pipe-bursting facility. The information came from the London-headquartered infrastructure company.
The joint venture would allow the parties to bid for approximately Au$150 million equivalent to US$138 million water projects. The amount would be good for the next five years. The feasibility of the project, design of the construction and maintenance would be included in the undertaking.
Balfour Beatty's entry in the water works market of Australia was expected to boost the company's revenues. Balfour Beatty was a multinational infrastructure company that operated in more than 80 countries. It mainly worked for clients in Australia, Middle East, South-East Asia, UK and US.
